Visit the old elf lord and ask him about  dragons name I think
He will ask you to go kill the dark malor in the elven hollows,  and bring the ring back to him that he drops. Then you do just that.  by  bypassing the dread master, there is a baracade that will not  let you pass until I've been told about 30 percent of your hp, then going in, there will be a  dread to kill, then passed it going south is the dark malor. He is the guy you kill. 
Then once you've done that go back to the old elf lord, ask him about the name, I think he will take the ring from you, and tell it to you, Now this being a timed quest, you will have to go right after to tell the blue dragon the name, and then he will allow you to have it.
